Spring 2021 Intensive
(IN-PERSON) is happening AGAIN!
Classes start 2:30pm each day
Boca Raton, Florida
Tuition fee is $999
During the pandemic we've been the ONLY IN-PERSON major musical theatre intensive running in the US due to the safety measures we have observed and employed. We're back again for the Spring while maintaining our safety protocols during the pandemic (see below).
All students will perform song and/or dance in a celebrity concert at The Wick Theatre in Boca Raton at the conclusion of the intensive. While the intensive is themed for concert preparation with rehearsals, students will also be taught audition techniques along with Making It On Broadway's same standard class offerings.
At this intensive, students of ALL ages will participate in in-person classes such as Belt Like a Broadway Star, Build Your Book, Pop/Rock, Dance, Business, Business for Parents, Acting - Beyond Monologues, Acting Your Song and much much more.
Each student is GUARANTEED to sing in a virtual master class featuring Stephanie J. Block, Lea Salonga, and Eva Noblezada!
Each student is also GUARANTEED to perform in a group number in the Celebrity Concert to be held at The Wick Theatre in Boca Raton. Songs and dance numbers will be rehearsed at specific times during the intensive.
Our in-person, Broadway-trained and local faculty:
Erika Henningsen ("Mean Girls" Broadway) - Acting Your Song
Samantha Pauly ("Six" Broadway) - Pop/Rock & "Six" Dance
Kyle Selig ("Mean Girls" Broadway) - Acting for Camera & Song Writing
Jodie Langel ("Les Miserables""CATS""Joseph..." Broadway) - Belt Like a Broadway Star and Build Your Book

COVID-19 SAFETY AT MAKING IT ON BROADWAY
We take very seriously the safety of our students and faculty. We will implement all the safety measures we used during our recent Summer and Fall 2020 Audition Prep Intensives. At the start of each day students and faculty will have their temperature taken and be required to wash or sanitize their hands. Masks are worn at all times unless a student is singing, dancing or presenting a monologue or as necessary by a faculty member. Classroom's are large hotel event rooms with seating that is social distanced including dance routines. Rooms, chairs, door handles, and common areas are sanitized prior to the start of each day and at the beginning of the lunch break and afternoon breaks. Hand sanitizer is available for use as well as a station to sanitize your cellphone.
UPON ARRVING FOR REGISTRATION ON MARCH 15, 2021, ALL STUDENTS MUST PRESENT A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST TAKEN WITHIN TWO DAYS PRIOR.
All students must wear a mask while performing in group numbers on stage during the concert and during rehearsals,
