Making it on Broadway intensives are for 6 days and the hours are 10-6pm every day except the first day where we start one hour earlier. The day starts with auditions for the staff so that they can place all the students in groups. There are no more than 10 students to a group as we only allow 40 students into the program. Students take classes in all of the following listed below. There is so much to absorb in the six days, as it is non stop working, singing, networking, auditioning and learning. In addition every day there is a different Master class with a Broadway actor, casting director, composer or agent. these are the BEST in the business. There are a lot of professional opportunites available as well as amazing training in the process, because all of our staff are Broadway professionals and industry people that can hire you and cast you! What makes Making it on Broadway so special is the Master classes and all the amazing people that have come in to work with our students. Every day there will be a different Broadway Master class with a composer, actor, casting director, agent or director and EVERY student will get to perform at ONE master class. GUARANTEED. A class to build your audition repertoire.  Each student will have the opportunity to coach with Making it on Broadway founders, Jodie Langel and Kim Steiner on the material they already know and learn how to enhance and enrich their performance of it making specific acting choices and understanding how to connect to the material in a useful and simple way.  In addition, each student is GUARANTEED to walk out of the class with two or more brand new pieces of sheet music that is not available in stores or on line. We will give each student hand picked audition material specific to their "type" and personality so that each student will have a better understanding of the audition process.  This class is like building your very own music library!
Learn original Broadway choreography with a Broadway dancer and learn how to incorporate "acting" into your dance auditions.
A class to work on pop/rock material which is becoming more and more common for Broadway auditions. Get a leg up on your competitors. Work with a Broadway professional and get pop/rock songs specifically designed for you and your voice type and learn how to successfully deliver a pop song!
With Broadway performer Jose Llana. What sets apart a good audition from a mediocre audition is the ability to really "act" your song not just sing it. Learn the tricks of the trade in lyric analysis, coloring and story telling so you can book the job!
A business class for actors with a professional Casting director. Learn the ins/and outs and do's and don'ts from what to wear to how to get an agent.
Parents have questions too! Here is the opportunity for all parents to meet with all the Making it on Broadway staff to ask every question they have about career, their children, agents, managers, colleges, etc. We also give all parents information on the best conservatories, how to get an agent, Equity/non Equity, the list goes on....This is an open forum for parents to get the information they need to help their children succeed.
Work with a Broadway casting director on cold readings, scenes and/or monologues. Wish you could do that cold reading over again? Go in next time and nail it!
Work with Broadway actor Sarah Saltzberg on fun and exciting IMPROV games and techniques!
Each student will audition the first day and be placed into a group they will take classes with all week long.  These groups are divided based on age, ability and where the faculty thinks the student will grow best.
Each returning student to Making it on Broadway will receive $50 dollars off tuition and either get an extra coaching from one of the staff members OR an added class just for them depending on the number of students. 
On the final day, each student will have a private audition for a Broadway casting director and an agent and get direct feedback. It is a once in a lifetime experience to not only get an audition, but to learn what you can work on for the next audition.   Each student will get the feedback from the casting director and agent emailed to them for their own personal learning process.  Also, EVERY student will get the casting director and agent's information to follow up and contact them in the future.
